The Anderson Center for the Arts is where the voices of East Harris County and beyond converge, a Black-founded and led home for the arts where creativity is stewarded as a sacred calling. Free programming for our community. Studio space and residencies for Black artists. Black history and culture, preserved and celebrated where we live.
This year alone: 60 artists supported · 1,200+ hours of free programming · 40 new works exhibited centering Black narratives.
