Discover a beautiful blend of French impressionism, English pastoral melody, and Irish folk tunes in the music of Ernest Moeran (1894-1950), often called the “Vaughan Williams of Ireland”! We are excited to introduce the seldom heard Moeran piano trio in D Major to our audience. Some jigs and reels will be included, of course! The concert wouldn’t be complete without famous songs of Ireland, to be sung by opera singer, Jeffrey Snider. Pianist Heejung Kang, violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth, cellist Karen Maddox Smith, Post-concert pianist/vocalist Steve Stroud . Complimentary fruit/cheese/desserts. Cash bar.
