Macbeth
A brave Scottish general receives a prophecy from a trio of witches that one day she will be the Queen of Scotland. Consumed by ambition and goaded into action by her husband, Lady Macbeth murders the current queen and takes the throne for herself. Wracked with guilt and paranoia, she commits more and more murders to maintain her newly-gained royal status, leading her closer and closer to a bloody end herself.
