Three different scenes tied together by three creative threads.

1. Laberinta (The Labyrinth)
Based upon the Greek myth of the Minotaur in his Labyrinth and Ariadna, who with her thread, enters into the matrix we create. This is a space dominated by the force of submission due to the absence of any truly human element.

Through tragedy, the Greeks dealt with the grief resulting from their inability to change destiny; they always remained fearful of the gods’ punishment for whomever attempted it.

Ariadna fervently seeks to change her destiny; she attempts to recover the human figure that outside the labyrinth weaves a different, possible world on her loom.

2. Peregrinar (The Pilgrimage)
A woman born in the United States is on the brink of suicide and initiates a pilgrimage deep within a Mayan community in Chiapas, Mexico, to find herself.

With an underlying metaphor of “life as a voyage,” the traveler becomes expelled from her origins to un-find and re-find herself in the essences of the natural, in unconditional love, and in the sacred experience of age-old knowledge.

3. Travesía (The Voyage)
A look into the experiences of being an artist and traversing a great distance inward in a spiral motion. This is the voyage of a human being, a journey that closes in upon itself while it flees its center, as in a spiral. Is this journey a human condition to finally discover who we are? Soul? Being? Spirit? The journey is the beginning and the end without limits, a link between the inner world and the external, and vice-versa. This work also includes characters, titles, and content from some of the visual works by Spanish surrealist artist, Remedios Varo.

3 PIEZAS DIFERENTES ENLAZADAS ENTRE SÍ, CON 3 HILOS CREATIVOS.

1. Laberinta
Basada en el mito griego del Minotauro en su laberinto y Ariadna que con su hilo entra en la mátrix que vamos creando, ahí donde domina la fuerza del sometimiento de unos sobre otros por la ausencia de lo verdaderamente humano.

La tragedia era la relación que los griegos tenían con el dolor, el dolor de la imposibilidad de cambiar el destino, por temor a que siempre habrá castigo de los dioses para quien intente cambiarlo.

Ariadna busca con una verdadera sed de cambiar su destino. y trata de recuperar esa figura humana que se postula fuera del laberinto tejiendo con un telar un mundo posible.

2. Peregrinar
Basada en la experiencia de una mujer nacida en los Estados Unidos de Norte América que a punto de suicidarse inicia su peregrinación para encontrarse en la profundidad de una comunidad Maya de Chiapas, México.

La vida como un viaje es la metáfora fundamental, y ella es una viajera expulsada para desencontrar y encontrarse en las esencias de lo natural, en el amor incondicional y la en la experiencia sagrada de ancestrales conocimientos.

3. Travesía
Basada en las experiencias de ser artista y caminar muy lejos en espiral, hacia adentro. Y también, se contemplan personajes, títulos y contenidos de algunas obras pictóricas de Remedios Varo.

Esta es la travesía de un ser humano, un recorrido que se cierra a sí mismo y al mismo tiempo se fuga de su centro como en una espiral. ¿Es la travesía la condición humana para encontrar por fin un quiénes somos? ¿Alma, ser, espíritu? La travesía son inicios y finales sin límite, una correspondencia del interior con el exterior y viceversa.
