Enola Gay in conversation with Leah Conner

As Hopkins County’s community theatre since 1981, the Community Players have had a front-row seat to the amazing talents, passions, and general uniqueness that the people of Sulphur Springs and the surrounding areas have to offer. It’s worth talking about, and we know just who to do it!

Residents of Northeast Texas spent their mornings with Enola Gay Mathews for 32 years as the host of The Good Morning Show on 1230am KSST until her retirement last year.

We’re elated to bring Enola’s legendary voice and interview skills to the stage in a new kind of event for Sulphur Springs. “In Conversation with Enola Gay Mathews” will be coming to the Main St. Theatre stage on Saturday, October 1st at 7pm!

Join us as Enola sits down with Leah Conner to talk about the importance of live music and the work the Conner family is doing to help beat cancer by producing and organizing the Texafied Jamfest, right here in Hopkins County!

We’re happy to welcome Leah back to the Main St. Theatre stage where she previously served as President, and has appeared in and directed many plays!

This will be an evening of great conversation, looking back, looking to the future, and showcasing just one piece of greatness that makes Hopkins County so darn special!

A portion of the evening’s proceeds will be donated to MD Anderson Cancer Center - Pediatric Cancer Research & Treatment.

Tickets are now available at communityplayersinc.com for $15 in advance. Tickets at the door are $20.
