The Alternative Comedy Theater is so excited to be returning to the Pocket Sandwich Theatre in Carrollton, bringing back HAM IT UP! a popular week-long summer workshop for kids and teens. We hope we see some of the gang from last summer!
We are offering 2 age ranges, the workshop starting on July 15 is for kiddos from 8-12, and the second on the week of July 22 is for teens 13+, all who want to learn more about improv comedy while having a great time and gaining confidence in themselves. Participants will spend the week meeting new friends and learning the basics of improv and improv games with John Rawley and other professional artists. The workshop will finale on the Friday of the workshop selected with a performance on Pocket's stage!

Details:
KIDS ages 8 – 12. Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19, 10AM -
2PM, with a Showcase on Friday July 19 at 1 pm. Friends and families
welcome! Doors will open at 12:30 for the show with drinks & munchies being offered for purchase.

TEENS 13+. Monday, July 22 through Friday, July 26, 10AM - 2PM, with a Showcase on Friday July 26 at 1 pm. Friends and families
welcome! Doors will open at 12:30 for the show with drinks & munchies being offered for purchase.

THERE WILL BE A DAILY LUNCH BREAK FOR THE KIDS SO PLEASE BRING A BAG LUNCH. SOFT DRINKS AND A SNACK ARE PROVIDED AT NO CHARGE.

The price for the workshop will be:
*$250 with a multiple child discount offered. No cancellations or refunds after July 1, 2024.
