Alla Prima Oil Painting (intermediate to advanced levels) w/ Carol Ivey

Intermediate level will work ‘alla prima’ on a series of quick studies from still life and photo source; exploring basic concepts of value massing, brushwork, edges, and color mixing. The aim is to work from general to specific as you experiment with a range of possibilities while developing a more intuitive and spontaneous approach. Advanced students may choose to pursue their own interests with guidance and critiques from the instructor.
