Painting Portraits in Oils from a Photograph With Michael and Audra Pianta

Using photographs to help create a portrait painting in oils is fraught with promise and peril. In this one day workshop, Michael and Audra Pianta will share helpful advice and techniques for using photographs to make portraits in oil paint. Through trying out the techniques in the afternoon portion of the workshop, participants will gain practical knowledge that can be applied to future paintings and photographs!
