Make it an early Valentine's treat for that special person, or for yourself with SKYLAND, a high-energy acoustic band based in the Dallas area and accumulating quite the following. After making music under the name "5 Second Rule" for 15 years, the band is reaching out to new audiences with a concert experience filled with original songs and fresh approaches to traditional tunes. They fill the air with toe-tapping fiddle tunes and heartfelt original songs influenced by traditional Celtic and modern Roots Music. A fun, stimulating show that'll keep bringing you back for more!

The band features Kat Glaze on fiddle; Ian Gill on guitar, bass & mandolin; David Lovrien on whistles, sax & keyboards; Paul Dryer on guitar, mandolin, banjo & harmonica; and Rick Holt on drums... and everyone joins in on vocals!

They have appeared at the Wildflower Arts & Music Festival, North Texas Irish Festival, and the TCR Festival. They've also appeared live on WRR-FM 101.1 and WFAA Channel 8. Last year they performed with the Richardson Symphony Orchestra and also the Turtle Creek Chorale for 2 sold-out concerts at the Meyerson Symphony Center.
