Join us for a one-of-a-kind adult Folklorico workshop where you’ll learn the dynamic and playful dance of El Querreque! Whether you’re new to Folklorico or looking to refine your skills, this workshop is designed to immerse you in the beauty, tradition, and energy of Mexican dance.

What to Expect:
Learn the footwork (zapateado) and technique for El Querreque
Enhance your performance with a rebozo (shawl) for women and a straw hat for men (provided)
Step-by-step instruction from experienced Folklorico dancers
Engage in fun, high-energy movement while embracing culture
No experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm!

What to Wear:
Women: Leggings and a t-shirt, short, thick-heeled dance shoes (salsa-style preferred)
Men: Athletic pants and a t-shirt, dress shoes (no sneakers)
Props provided! Women will receive a rebozo (shawl), and men will receive a straw hat to use during the workshop
