Chaos ensues when world-famous tenor Tito Merelli arrives late for a one-night opera performance, only to be mistakenly presumed dead after a double dose of tranquilizers. In a desperate bid to save the show, opera manager Saunders convinces his assistant Max to impersonate Tito. Max succeeds—until Tito wakes up and dons the same costume. With two "Il Stupendos" onstage and mistaken identities spiraling out of control, this Broadway and West End sensation promises nonstop laughter.
