Home, I’m Darling is an Olivier Award-winning play full of big skirts and even bigger questions. How can we cope with the pressures of modern life?Judy and Johnny don’t just admire the 1950s, they’ve moved in.Their home is a pastel-perfect time capsule, complete with aprons, cocktails, and a strict devotion to “the good old days.” Judy has happily traded her modern career for homemaking, while Johnny embraces chivalry, structure, and dinner on the table right on time. But the 21st century refuses to stay outside. Rising bills, a new boss, and Judy’s sharp-tongued mother (who actually survived the ’50s) keep poking holes in their perfectly pressed fantasy. When reality crashes the cocktail hour, Judy must decide: is this dream life everything she wanted… or just dressed up that way?
