Artes de la Rosa presents Jitterbug Firefly - An Artes Academy Production
Our show is set in YOUR backyard. Where a handful of young Beetles spend a magical summer. Experiencing romance, hungry centipedes, falling stars of childhood stories, Texas scorpions and the wonders of nature. All while searching for that "great adventure," and learning groovy new dances to 80's classics!
Performed by the talented students of Artes Academy Summer Production Camp, this family-friendly production is filled with laughter, music, adventure, and heart. Join us in celebrating the creativity and hard work of these young performers as they bring this enchanting story to life on stage.

The performance runs approximately one hour and includes two short acts with a 15-minute intermission.

Nuestro espectáculo se desarrolla en TU jardín. Allí, un grupo de jóvenes «Beetles» pasa un verano mágico. Viven historias de amor, se topan con ciempiés hambrientos, ven estrellas fugaces como las de los cuentos de la infancia, se encuentran con escorpiones de Texas y descubren las maravillas de la naturaleza. ¡Todo ello mientras buscan esa «gran aventura» y aprenden nuevos bailes geniales al ritmo de los clásicos de los 80!
Interpretada por los talentosos estudiantes del Campamento de Producción de Verano de Artes Academy, esta producción para toda la familia está llena de diversión, música, aventura y emoción. Acompáñenos a celebrar la creatividad y el arduo trabajo de estos jóvenes artistas mientras dan vida a esta maravillosa historia sobre el escenario.

Artes de la Rosa Cultural Center Refund Policy
Artes de la Rosa will not issue a refund but offers two options:
(1) Ticket(s) can be exchanged for the same production on an alternate date as long as the ticket on the alternate date is of equal or lesser value.
(2) The Ticket can be contributed as a donation in which case Artes de la Rosa will issue the ticket holder a tax deductible receipt in the amount paid for the ticket. Please contact our offices at 817-624-8333.
