About the film:
Gus Garcia fought against school segregation laws in Texas. In 1954 he successfully argued the Hernandez v Texas in the Supreme Court, becoming the first Mexican American to do so.
Who really was Gus Garcia and why was he written off off in our history?
Legendary Chicano filmmaker Efrain Gutierrez along with some that knew his story well will tell us.
