Casual Night at the Museum!

Due to these strange Covid 19 times, we are not sure if there will be a cap on audience capacity, or if food/drink service will be entirely different. We will update our info as needed, and reach out to those who have purchased tickets, if necessary. Thank you for your support!

"Casual Night at the Museum" means that we performers truly will dress casually, and want our audience to be comfortably casual too! Whether you prefer to be in shorts or sundresses, jeans or athletic wear, whatever you like to wear in July is fine! We'll be inside in the air conditioning, but why not be causal? Our theme will be “music of the movies;” movie themes as well as classical music made famous by the movies! Our showcase work will be "American in Paris" by George Gershwin, and you'll hear other pieces from well-known movies, from older to more current. You may be surprised by what classics, including opera arias, were used in movies starring Daniel Day-Lewis, Al Pacino, Julia Roberts and more familiar stars. As usual, pianist Erik Barnes will entertain you during the post-concert party, when you may enjoy a complimentary fruit/cheese/desserts plates and complimentary wine/soft drinks. BYOB permitted. Performers include tenors Sergio Cepeda and Don O'Neal LeBlanc. Pianist Kathy Hodge Abrahamson, cellist Jim Higgins, violist Timothy Angel, and violinist LeeAnne Chenoweth.
