Timeless Concerts Box Office

MUSIC OF THE NORTH COUNTRIES

Texas is hot in July! Dress casually. We take you to the northern countries of the world. Cool off listening to the one of the greatest composers of all time, Tchaikovsky (1840-1893) of Russia. (You know his "Nutcracker Ballet" music, "1812 Overture" and more!) We will perform the first movement of his beautiful, seldom heard work for piano, violin and cello; his trio Op. 50. We will contrast his work with music of contemporary composer Ola Gjeilo, born in Norway in 1978. (Yay-lo) Gjeilo's music is described as cinematic and evocative, with a lush, harmonious sound. Plus, violinist Keyreel Raskolenko will perform Norwegian fiddle and folk music, and 0ur vocalists will sing songs of Scandinavia and more.

Performers: violinists LeeAnne Chenoweth and Keyreel Raskolenko, cellist Alice Jeong-A Lee, pianist Heejung Kang, soprano Youna Hartgraves, and baritone Erik Larson. As always, we provide complimentary wine/soft drinks/snacks.

There are only 85 seats at this location, so don’t delay getting your tickets! It is an intimate recital-style seating venue without tables.
