GHOULS & FOOLS - Lunch, Libations & Laughter
HEY, GHOULS AND GALS! Wednesday, October 22 @ 11:30am
Pocket Sandwich Theatre is hosting its first-ever Afternoon Delight weekday lunch event. We’ve heard you, and we know there are lots of folks with flexible schedules and time on their hands to enjoy fun and frivolity during daylight hours. So, by popular request, we’re launching what we hope will become a regularly scheduled event in 2026. Every other month or so, we’ll feature a broad range of entertainment options: from live music to comedy, special speakers to trivia and games…the sky’s the limit!
At our inaugural event, special guest Vivian Reed will take us on a tour of the subtleties of tea tasting in a relaxed and unstuffy way. We’ll tip back a taste of the fall with a Carmel Nut black tea, a Mulled Apple Cider and an Apricot Ginger black tea, accompanied by some devilishly delicious tea cakes. Vivian is a well-known tea expert, and we’ll infuse the tasting with a bit of laughter, special spooky guests and music. Also on the agenda is the ancient art of reading tea leaves...and for those that prefer a bit of a kick with lunch, we’ll have mimosas, beer and wine on hand. Hungry? *A seasonally-themed lunch menu will be available offering guests yummy coffin-shaped sandwiches and scary good salads.
Tickets are $20, and advance reservations guarantee seating. Price includes tea tasting, tea cakes and entertainment. *Lunch and additional beverages are available for purchase the day of the event.
