Creative Drama Camp is for students ages 5-8, entering Kindergarten - 2nd grade. If your student will be entering 3rd grade in the Fall of 2025, please sign them up for Kids Musical Camp.
Showcase Performance July 24th @ 10:30am in the Rehearsal Hall at the Theatre Denton Annex located inside Golden Triangle Mall.
This is an intro to musical theatre and acting. We do theatre basics (stage directions, vocal and physical warmups, etc), games that focus on character creation and development, ensemble building and they learn 2-3 songs (we decide how many and what songs once we meet the kids and get a grasp of where they are) and the choreography/blocking from our kids musical. This year's production is Seussical, Jr., on the last day they perform a showcase performance for an invited audience.
A parent/guardian is required to be in attendance for a short orientation the 1st 20 minutes of the 1st day of camp. We appreciate you marking this on your calendars.
