Explore. Create. Perform.

Youth Theatre Lab is a six-week acting class for students designed to build confidence, creativity, and real theatre skills through play and performance. This intensive focuses on acting techniques and the tools actors use to create authentic, compelling performances.

Using the beloved children's book "The Day the Crayons Quit" as our inspiration, each student will become a unique crayon character and explore character development, emotion, voice, movement, objectives, monologue technique, and stage presence. Students will learn how to answer the questions every actor asks: Who am I? What do I want? How do I feel? And how do I show it?

The six-week session culminates in a final monologue showcase, giving each student the opportunity to perform their polished piece for an audience. No previous monologue experience is required—just a willingness to work, explore, and take the stage.

You will receive 2 comp tickets for the Showcase and instructions for reserving the 2 seats.
