Explore. Create. Perform.

Designed for Jr. High and High School actors, this six-week intensive takes students beyond simply memorizing a monologue and teaches them how to truly act the material.

Students will select a monologue and spend six weeks developing it from the page to performance. Students will learn professional acting techniques including character development, objectives and motivation, emotional truth, subtext, voice, movement, pacing, stage presence, and audience connection.

Through exercises, coaching, scene work, and performance practice, students will learn how to make strong character choices, take creative risks, and bring authenticity to their performances. The six-week session culminates in a final monologue showcase, giving each student the opportunity to perform their polished piece for an audience. No previous monologue experience is required—just a willingness to work, explore, and take the stage.

Come find the character. Find the truth. Own the stage.

Six weeks. Six acting skills. One unforgettable YOUTH THEATRE LAB!

You will receive 2 comp tickets for the Showcase and instructions for reserving the 2 seats.
